It'd be interesting to see the other side of that argument, from the SYF perspective. I can think of a lot of women I've known who put the man through school and gave birth to kids for the preservation of the man's last name and then got traded for some sweet young thing.
Cause and effect...
The people she chose were from some of the vanity capitals of the US, let's see...Florida, California, see a connection here? Coastal, sunny, where it's not just the women who are trying to look like denizens of Mt. Olympus, but the guys are too. I think the SYM in the article also are paying too much attention to what appears on the news and trendy TV shows.
Do guys get a raw deal, many times yes. All the time...don't think so.
Diseased riddled tramps?? My LORD where are these guys looking for love?? A back alley on the corner of Amsterdam and Broadway?
Oh yes, I must agree that men don't always get the raw deal. There are plenty of happy couples out there, and lots of marriages that work.
Personally however, I can relate to the plight of men in this article. 'Nuff said.
